Gas mileage is so so. Ride and interior noise levels are mediocre. For an inexpensive mini van it is a reliable vehicle. Exactly what it was Designed to be.… - 5.0

Have loved it for 12 years!

I have owned my 2012 Mazda 5 since I bought it brand new. I had no problems with it at all, until the last few months. It has more than 140,000 miles on it. I bought it because I was looking for a car that my surfboard would fit inside. I took my surfboard with me to test drive cars, and it slid in this one so much easier than all the others I tried out, not only because it's long but also because it has a low middle console. The others with high consoles caused my board to sit so high, I could not see over it, but I can in my Mazda 5. I can even fit my bicycle inside it, along with my surfboard! Then, the third row seats and sliding doors on both sides came in handy when traveling with my grandkids. I can fit my whole family in it, although it's a bit tight. And there's a lot of trunk space. The one thing I really dislike is that the seats stain so easily, even from just a drop of water! If they still made them, I would buy another newer one.…
